Braman Motorcars kicks off the holiday season with a donation of over 77,000 meals to through December that also encompasses the annual Braman Toys for Kids drive which saw 1,000 toys donated last year to children in need.
“The Braman BMW Test Drive to End Hunger campaign was a great example of how to raise awareness about the issue of hunger in a fun and unique way.” said Paco Vélez, President and CEO of Feeding South Florida. “Thanks to Braman Motorcars efforts, we can provide 77,200 meals for the families and children facing food insecurity in South Florida.”
“What better time for giving than during the holiday season” stated Stephen Grossman, General Manager of Braman Motorcars. “The gifting spirit takes over our entire facility and brings our staff and customers together to help brighten the holidays for disadvantaged members of our community. It’s Braman’s largest season of giving” he said.
In addition, Braman Motorcars has teamed up with a local television station, its radio partners at Alpha Media and iHeart Radio, The United Way, the School District of Palm Beach County and other organizations to broadcast the message, provide logistical support and locate kids in need for toy distribution.
Leading the spirit of giving is Celine Pelofi, Braman Motorcars’ Brand Ambassador who is in charge of organizing the holiday events. “Last year was amazing and our plans this year will also assure a great and successful season.” says Pelofi. “Seeing a child’s eyes light up who never anticipated a Christmas gift and suddenly get one is an incredible experience and one that touches my heart each year” she continued.
